New York City life so far has been interesting. I moved into my double room on Sunday- it’s now Wednesday and I’ve already completed my third day of interning with Bryant Park. It’s been wonderful so far. Everyone here has a ton of personality and the atmosphere is completely stress free. I love it! I’m so excited for the rest of the summer!

My roommate finally came and moved in yesterday (Tuesday May 15 2012), so my room no longer looks like the photo above! (I’ll add a new photo soon!)
My roomies name is Halee, she’s from Indiana and has landed a fashion internship for the summer- so exciting! It’s perfect because our working hours are basically the same and we both take the 6 train to work in the morning :)

COLLEGE CAREER COMPLETE: I can’t believe I’m 22 and have graduated from college with a bachelor’s of science degree in mass communication… it feels like just yesterday I was celebrating my sweet 16. I’m growing up and time is flying by so fast I can’t keep up! I’m currently getting ready to start my life as a working girl with an internship at Bryant Park Corporation and I am excited about it! It’s going to be an amazing experience. I’m living in student housing for the summer and then going to figure out a permanent living situation in the city by August. I have a feeling it’s going to be a great summer, but I know it will fly by fast!

10 Days Left…
I know I should be sad, but I can’t even sleep I am so excited to go home. It’s not that I want to leave Ireland or Europe in general, because I really DO love it here and am sad to leave all my traveling and adventures behind. However, I can’t wait to be with the people I love, the people who understand me, the people I feel comfortable around and the people who love me no matter what.
This year has been pretty lonely. I’m relieved to finally go home, because the last time I was back for Christmas it was not long enough…. it feels like it never actually happened.
